Lesley Norman is Vice President and COO of JumpStart Productions, and the Executive In Charge of the PBS series NOW with David Brancaccio. Prior to joining JumpStart in late 2004, Ms. Norman was Vice President of David Grubin Productions. For Grubin, Ms. Norman was part of the Emmy-award winning team that produced The Secret Life of the Brain for PBS, as well as the Peabody-award-winning “Napoleon.” Prior to working with Grubin, Ms. Norman spent 12 years at WGBH Boston, where she worked for NOVA and also managed the Peabody Award-winning series “Africans in America.”

In addition to PBS programs, she has worked on productions for The Discovery Channel, CNBC and CNN. She has served on the editorial board for the History Congress, the board of New England Women in Film, has been a judge for the International Emmy awards, and has produced many sessions for the World Congress of Science Producers. Ms. Norman has a Bachelors degree in Government from Skidmore College, and a Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University.
